Academy of Aviation Education (AAE) is a sister concern of AMET India, a leading institute with more than a decade of experience in training marine candidates. Currently AMET is declared a Deemed University, first of its kind in India in the private sector. It has also been certified to ISO 9001:2000 QMS Standard by Det Norske Veritas till 2007 for Design, Development and Conducting Maritime Training Courses, Programs, Examinations and Assessments.

Academy of Aviation Education was instituted to impart ground training in all aviation related subjects under one roof. Till now the flight training and teaching of ground subjects for the Indian Commercial Pilot license was carried out in a haphazard manner in India and to end this trend, AAE was instituted. We are in the process of obtaining our NOC to start a flight training school catering to the ever-increasing demands for Indian Commercial Pilot License holders. Till such time we have our own fleet of light aircraft we are sending our students to Aerospace Aviation, Sydney, Australia.The duration of this course is one year including the ground training period. 

We have plans to commence Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course in June 09. Necessary infrastructure is being built to cater for this course. We are also commencing Cabin crew training in Jan 09 

So far two batches of Pilot trainees had been sent to Australia to carry out their flying training. Presently the third batch of students, are under going their ground training with us. Apart from our own candidates we also admit students from other flying academies for ground training. Experienced instructors from Aviation background teach all aviation subjects for Indian(DGCA),Australian(CASA), USA (FAA)syllabus and also prepare them for obtaining Indian CPL.
